Social networks are used to model people and their relationships. While social network analysis research deals with a conglomeration of issues, they can be broken down into two major thrust areas: social network construction and social network analyses. There is a natural feedback between these two since analysis is dependent on the data used to construct the network yet can also help pinpoint data which is relevant and potentially incomplete or completely missing. The goal of this project is to research approaches that methodically represent culture within social networks that is transportable from one cultural environment to another.
