A Culturally Infused Social Network

Social networks are used to model people and their relationships. Historically, social network analysis

has focused on the structure of these relationships without due consideration of the social context within

which they occur. The focus of this project is to research approaches that methodically represent culture

within social networks that is transportable from one cultural environment to another. The goal is a unified

framework representing cultural and contextual information along with social relationships that supports

reasoining under uncertainty.
